iPod Touch Restrictions

I put restrictions on my daughters' iPod touches. I do not remember what Passcode I used for restrictions. Now that I want to change restrictions, I cannot do so b/c I need to enter the Passcode to access these options. I have already updated and restored the iPod through iTunes, but it only reset the Passcode lock, which is different. How do I reset the Passcode for restrictions (through Settings menu)??

Hello Lexgig,

I was a little surprised that using restore through iTunes has not solved the problem. Have you also tried resetting your settings from within the iPod touch? You can do this by going to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.

A complete restore and setting an iPod touch up as a new device will get rid of those restrictions and will let you setup a new code. One you'll remember, of course.
