irssi for Tiger?

I've tried using fink and also compiling it myself, but i can't seem to get a working build.

Any chance someone has a working binary or can make one or maybe some instructions? :p

I tried this fink irssi.info and it installs irssi, but it gives me this error when starting: "GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to: Result too large."

irssi then starts but just sits at: "Looking up irc.freenode.net" or whatever network or ip i try to connect to.

Using Tiger 425.

I am in the same boat as you. I have tried building 0.8.9, and the latest CVS snapshot, usingboth glib 1.2.10, glib 2.6.4, and building with gcc-3.3 and gcc-3.4. Some low level netowrk library owrk differently?
