Is the Dell 2405fpw compatible with macs?

I want to know so i can get one for both my windows and mac computers. I can't stand the low specs and high price of the 23 inch cinema display when the 2405 is here.

Yes. It has D-Sub (another name for VGA) and DVI-D connectors. It's just a monitor; they're all compatible.

A friend has one connected to his Dual 2.0 G5.

Good! Now all i need is the dough!
Wait for a sale. They often do deep discounts of this model, at least in Europe. I have two for my PM, and it ROCKS!

You might also want to look at a USB KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switch so that you can use the same keyboard, mouse and monitor for both computers. Belkin and some others make some inexpensive KVM switches for only two computers.

Incidentally, I need to get one myself for my workstation area, so if I find anything I'll let you know.

That would be cool. Thanks nixgeek. When i get the chance i will look for one and then get the monitor. I'm in america so i don't know or care about european deals...
