Is there a video player that allows you to adjust contrast/brightness/color?

So I have an AVI file that won't even load in quicktime, but it plays fine in VLC and MPlayer. As far as I can tell neither of these programs let you adjust the color, contrast or brightness of the file. Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to do this?
 
Well if your looking to save those settings there aren't many that can do that without a video editing program such as iMovie which will allow you to change those settings. However, if you just want to change those settings while just playing it, VLC will work fine. Just go to Window and then Extended Controls and it will have a couple of bars you can slide to change the image.
