Is this a picture of new powermac hardware?

Hello everyone,

I found the link to this site on digg.com. It shows somebody snooping around macworld. They have taken a picture of a small 'powermac' next to a powermac G5....

wow, didn't see that one coming! Of all the dozens and dozens of rumors I have read, I have never seen any suggestion of a PowerMac mini.

I would rather guess (if it's real) it should be an external hdd-case.

eh? that would be one big arse HDD case!

you do have to wonder if it's real, because whoever it was that took the photo, why didn't they spin 20 degrees to their left and shoot the entire banner?

this is getting a little out of hand. I mean, it's a matter of hours before the keynote. How about we just wait.

Yeah. Don't expect "secret" new hardware to be on public display before the keynote. At least not on the show floors.

well, it _does_ look more like a PowerMac. but I, too, think it's just a drive enclosure looking like a PowerMac.

A RAID system with more than just 2 discs might need so much space if you consider cooling and power supply as part of the box.
