iSale 5 quit immediately after launch

I bought iSale at Jan 08 MacWorld.
They have iSale 4 in the box and iSale 5 CD outside.
I installed iSale 5 ok, but when I launched it, it quit immediately.
After many tries, uninstalled, reinstalled, I installed v4 and it registered and worked fine.
Still can't get iSale 5 to work and don't know where to start troubleshooting.
I emailed iSale support and got 2 tickets numbers but no one replied yet.
I called their phone but it says it only opens Tuesdays.

I use a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.4.11, 2GB Ram.

Thanks for any help to get me pinpoint where the problem is.

From the equinox.com support site:

When launching iSale it quits immediatelly. How can I fix this?
When starting up, iSale reads temporary cache files that are created for speeding up certain processes automatically while using the application. However, if those files are corrupted they might prevent iSale from launching. In order to delete those files please do the following:
1. Open a Finder window and navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/iSale/
2. Delete all files with the suffix ".eqcache"
3. Launch iSale

Does this help at all or does it still quit immediately? I notice that equinox.com list iSale 5 as "coming soon". Do you have a beta or pre-release version?

I did not see a folder for iSale 5 but there is one for iSale 4. I deleted those cache files anyways but it did not work.

However, I found the following crash log and will send to Equinux. Wonder if you can make any sense out of it.

Ahah, very useful! So the app fails to load a dynamic library in a framework called CalendarStore and this appears to be a feature of Leopard (OS X 10.5). Although iSale 5 is supposed to support OS X 10.4 as well (see this anouncement) I wonder if it in fact requires a feature only available in Leopard. I say that because on searching Google for "/System/Library/Frameworks/CalendarStore.framework" all of the links (well the ones I looked at anyway) were talking about OS X 10.5.

I just got an email from Equinux tech support saying they only support iSale 5 under Leopard. I forwarded them the link of the announcement saying they support 10.4 or later.. Thanks again!!!! Jet
