iSight 1.03 trouble

I have just updated to version 1.03 for iSight and the camera behaves strangely.
Sometimes I get a black screen with the mike graphic slashed and a text saying the camera is turned off, altough the green light is on.
In preferences both the camera and the mike are ticked and I have the sound bar signal visible.
Suddenly, AT TIMES I get an image of myself but still the graphic in the centre of the screen warns me that the camera is off!
After update I repaired the disk permissions once, restarted the computer...
Still on 10.3.8, no update there yet.
Any help?

Are you on a wireless network? If so try:

If the wireless signal is low you will lose connection, etc...

If you are not on a wireless network, I'm not sure what to say

The Apple site doesnt have anything about that.

Downloaded another update file (the installer log showed some errors)
Installed and restarted the machine 3 times!
It works now.
