I just ran Drive 10 over my OS X partition. It failed the volume structure test. ok. lets fix it. Oh wait, no I can't. "This drive is the System drive. While you may test this drive, it is not available for repair." OK! so now what do I do ? How do I fix the volume structure? can I do it in OS 9 with TechTool?

But I am afraid to run TechTool on my OS X partition. Last time I did that, sh*t hit the wall.

thanks

if the original drive 10 CD doesn't want to repair your main system disk something should be foul with the drive 10 cd.

make a new bootcd with bootcd. search for the term on the board, you'll find the location of where to get it. you can make a bootable cd with additional utilities (drive 10) on it.

hmmm... I looked at my drive 10 folder. I do not see how you could make a bootable CD with it. there is a "system folder", but nothing inside of it. check the screenshot.
