Just wanted to let EVERYBODY know that i'm not going to stop by the forums for a little while. I don't know how long i'll be out, but my family is having some really serious problems which i'll need to attend to and if possible give me support in. Don't want to say too much about it other than a lot of lies are involved. I hope everything turns out fine though. My mom's having a breakdown, and at her age it's not safe.

It's not polite to ask this but please: keep my family in your prayers.
 
I've had dealings with a loved one with mental health issues and I know that it's one of the toughest things to deal with. Go do what you need to do. We'll be here bickering away when you return ;)
 
Nothing wrong with asking for prayer amigo...you and your family will get it from me.

Praying is only an improved form of wishing, Chevy. ;)

I'm not praying myself, either, but my best wishes are with you, Trip. I've had to go through similar stuff less than two years ago with my own mum...

How ever hard it gets, never forget the first rule of love (well, for me it's like that): Meet the ones you love with love, even if they don't always seem to return it instantly.

Not sure this is what it means for the one who prays. I was an active (very) Christian and praying had more signification than wishing. But you are right when suggesting this has a similar function in a Christian life than "wishing" for other people in the situation that lives our friend Trip.
 
And keep it together...

I hope that your issues will be solved ASAP, without too much of a trouble :(
