iTune wont burn CD

i insert a blank CD and told which playlist to burn. then it start the process then the CD got ejected and got a error about a burn power? so i insert the same CD again then told it to burn the playlist again, finally it burning my first song on the playlist then the CD got ejected again and error pop up and said

"The attempt to burn a disc failed. the burn failed because of a medium write error"


Please help me with this, i burn CDs before and never got a problem. it my first time using iTune to burn my music

And im using OSX Tiger 10.4.9, MBP CoreDuo.
 
Have you tried a different Cd? something might be wrong with that particular disc such as a scratch, a dirty mark on it or anything ;)

Or check in iTunes Preferences/Advanced/Burning tab ~ and check that the Preferred Speed is selected at your burners speed, so I guess the MBP would have maximum speed to burn at 24x, drop it down to 20x rather then using Maximum Possible
