iTunes 3 & Mounted Volumes

How do you get iTunes 3 to play mp3s on remote hard drives (from an Apple File Server and a W2K server) ?

I did a search and couldnt find anything similar.

I have an Mp3 server on the network and I use to be able to drag files (and folders) to a new playlist on a client mac then play them in version 2.04

version 3 copies the file(s) when I drag them to a playlist of a client mac.

I dont want that and it defeats the purpose of my server. Any tips on how to get remote loading in iTunes 3 to work?

In the iTunes preferences, uncheck :
"Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library".
