Available in Software Update.

- iTunes is now a Universal Binary
- Includes the "MiniStore" (Edit > Hide MiniStore to turn it off)

Not sure what else is new though.

Apparently it also includes a converter for videos you wish to transfer to your iPod. Although I can't actually transfer any videos to my library, except for ones in the iPod format. :p

Haven't noticed that feature. But I did notice that both QT and iTunes are universal binaries. :D

Off of the iTunes download page.

"Sync Home Movies
Create iPod-compatible versions of your own movies using iTunes."

Apparently you right click on a video and select "Convert selection to iPod", I haven't downloaded iTunes yet so I cannot confirm that.

Yeah. It's important that you can disable that ugly mini-store.

I kept it on at first because I thought it might be useful but it takes so long to load data that I switched it off in the end. That, and it made the Library list ridiculously small.

It's hardly "spyware that sends data to Apple without our knowledge", is it? You can see the mini store being updated each time and people are acting like it's not possible to disable it.

Well, it _is_ spyware in that it actually _sends_ information to the store about what you're listening to. It shouldn't do that without asking in my opinion.
