I'm running iTunes 7.0.2, with a 60 GB Photo iPod running software version 1.2.1. I'm on a Mac iBook running system 10.4.8.
Ever since I upgraded from iTunes 6 to iTunes 7 (in both versions), I have been unable to sync my iCal and Address Book data to my iPod. When I click on the Contacts tab in iTunes, and try to check the box for Sync Address Book or Sync iCal Calendars, I get an error message that says "Contact syncing cannot be enabled because there are no contacts available. Do you want to open Address Book and create contacts now?" or "Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available. Do you want to open iCal and create a calendar now?"
The problem is that I actually do have calendars and addresses available, and they were syncing fine before this latest software upgrade. I'm not sure how to fix the problem -- is it possible that this is just a settings problem?
Thanks for any help you can give.
