iTunes 7 not working in 1 of 3 accounts .

iTunes 7 works in my son's account and a "guest " account" on my computer.
But not mine.

I am the administrator it is an iMac G4 700 Mhz.

OS X 10.3.9

When it opens it says in the window

"Determining Gapless

and then I see the coloured spinning ball.

I have to force quit the application.

If you try to play a CD in same result.

But if you go to a song in a iTunes folder it will play but not the next.

The spinning ball is still there.

I have trashed the iTunes preferences , and have up graded to 7.0.1 .

Also I have ran Disk First Aid and verified and repaired permissions.

The problem must be in my account somehow but how do I fix it ?
 
You may want to re-import your library. Deauthorize your iTunes account, move the itunes music folder out of the music folder, then drag the songs back in.
