iTunes Album Art Trick

sorry arden, it shows the Albumn cover you have highlighted (not playing), in the little viewer on the left

It toggles between showing the album art for the selected song and the currently playing song.

Hello, and welcome to a couple of months ago ;) :p

j/k... but seriously, I thought just about evryone knew about that by now.

Apparently not. :) I don't use cover art very much (listening to my songs on the iPod rather than on iTunes), but it's nice to know...

I think it was mentioned in some thread when the latest iTunes came out, but talk about the Music Store overwhelmed the threads.

That sounds like one of those little features that most people don't know about, and would never discover except by accident. iTunes has a lot of those.

this has been mentioned quite a few times before. granted, no threads were specifically made about this feature, but i learned this trick here a few months ago, and i just posted it helping someone else out about a month ago.

I found about it by accident when iTunes 4 came out, I think i was trying to reposition the image area with no success, and I found that instead.

Reposition as in change the size or as in move to a different part of the window?

I was trying to slide it down a little to see if the art would resize down, or partially hide, but it either is visible or not.

I know that, i mean up and down, i don't want a super wide playlist window, iTunes is big enough as it is with my song listings.
