iTunes Artwork Screen Saver problem

I have been using the iTunes Artwork Screen Saver that comes with the Mac. (Leopard/iMac G5) Recently, it stopped working. When the screen saver activates, the clock displays, but the screen remains black. When I test the screen saver from the preferences window using the Test button, it works fine. I have tried changing the settings for the screen saver with no luck. Other screen savers work fine.
