iTunes autolaunch on iPod connect

Is there any way to kill this 'feature'? It drives me crazy when I reboot, and iTunes insists on launching when the iPod is connected.
 
Yes there is goto the bottom right when you have your iPod connected and click the iPod pref. icon. There is an opyion there to turn it off.
