iTunes: burn without space between tracks: possible ?

toast

Gone !
Hello,

Whatever my settings are, iTunes will leave a tiny blank space between two tracks, making it impossible for a burnt mixed CD to play smoothly from beginning to end.

Anyone has a solution please ?
Is Roxio my only solution ? I know Roxio already needs 2 sec space after track 1, so Roxio won't beat iTunes on this question, AFAIK.
Maybe with DiscBurner ? Please help :)

I thought iTunes had a setting in the prefernces under the "burn" part that allows you to set the space between tracks to 0 seconds...that might help with your problem.

Yes, but EVEN this setting will STILL let a very VERY small blank... see what I mean ? Of course I thought about this setting, but it still leaves some 0.25 sec or such of silence between tracks... and this your ear does hear it (it looks like the CD's choking).

Any solution, then ? :(

Are you SURE Toast Titanium will leave strictly 0.000 secs between two files ? Sorry if I'm insisting, but Roxio isn't that cheap.

pretty sure. I think i've done it before. are you sure your songs don't have any blank spots at the end? Maybe it's not iTunes fault.

do you know you can get info on a file and tell it to start playing at 5 seconds to skip over the blank areas?
