Itunes college license program

How long has this been around? Does the schools recieve even 1 penny from this? Can they upload lectures and things so students can download them and never go to class? Anyone used this at their campus yet?

since itunes 4.5 i think?.... I remember a news article about it on macnn or somewhere apple didnt make a big deal about it though I'm not sire about the rest of ur q's though.

I'm sure the iTunes EULA (End User License Agreement) prevents redistribution. This license program would allow a university to host the iTunes download locally, reducing their outbound bandwidth.

That's the best I can figure with my limited knowledge of the situation.
