iTunes doen't import MP3 CDs

This has probably been up before but there...
Once upon a time a made a backup of my MP3 files, that is, I burned them to a (MP3) CD. Now I want to copy them back to the computer. Strangely though, iTunes doesn't import them. Is there some sort of trick or doesn't iTunes simply import MP3s ? (I know it's no problem to copy the files back, but it would be nice if iTunes did it).

copy all the MP3 files to your Music folder (or wherever you keep your MP3s) and then drag them into your iTunes window. It will add them all to the library.

Thats definately not a nice as hitting import, but thats the only method I know of.
