Hello,
Just lately I have found that iTunes will not connect to the store or update the radio.
I am running a G5 dual 1.8 Ghz, iTunes 4.9, os x 10.3.9.
(I have Quicktime 7 - but am not having a problem with it as others on this forum have).
I have deleted the plists, have re-downloaded 4.9, made sure my pro tools is not plugged in, repaired permissions, restarted, restarted and restarted, I have tried unchecking the "connect to internet" option in iTunes prefrences.
The error when trying to get to the store is:
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. An unknown error occurred (-1).
make sure your network connection is active and try again."
My network is active. I am not running any firewalls.
It was working about a month ago.
When trying to connect to the radio, it simply does not refresh the category list. All I have is the continuous "updating" bar.
The only thing different about my mac is I added an Airport Extreme card.
I have not heard of any issues of compatability between the two.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kevin
