iTunes not syncing calendar with iPhone

iTunes gets stuck on iCal calendar when syncing with my iPhone 4. It syncs everything else fine.

I have rest sync history, scanned and cleaned my Mac, deleted all info off my phone and started again, cleaned all old, weird and redundant events out of iCal.

I just stopped using Outlook for Mac. It is offline, not synced and the accounts are deleted. Could this be an issue?

I need my calendar in my iPhone for work!!
 
When I upgraded to the latest iTunes in Lion I noticed in iTunes, when you click your iPhone on the left column in iTunes, that in the first iPhone page near the bottom thee boxes to what to sync were unchecked. I then checked the boxes and everything started syncing again. So check that.
