Itunes over network to stereo

My laptop uses airtunes. I have a desktop that connects to internet and is networked with the laptop. I know how to share music on the network with itunes, but can I control what plays on the stereo from the desktop.

The program works and everything, but when you can't use it with a movie because it is way too laggy
