itunes play on wake

In the orginal version of iTunes 2 it did not pause as soon as i put my iMac to sleep. This way as soon it woke up it resumed playing.

But no more. Is there an easy way to make it start playing on wake up.

Is there a way to make applescripts run on wakeup?

btw - when dialling a connection it always skips just as the modem picks up the phone line (even with 10.1.4). Does this happen to everyone?

itunes 2 skips when dialing out on my G4 400 AGP beacuse the internal modem that apple uses is switched off when not in use & the system does not respond while waiting to turn it on... stupid really...
