itunes/Quicktime for Mac OSX

All was well with my Mac OS 10.3.9 until I upgraded software from itunes 6.0.1 to 6.0.4, and QT 7.0.1 to 7.0.4. After that, some websites show a ? over the QT player which will then not run. I uninstalled 7.0.4 back to 7.0.1 and the problem persists.
Do I need to get rid of itunes 6.0.4 as well. I can't seem to find where to install an older version of itunes. Help!

Have you tried upgrading to QT 7.1 and the latest iTunes? Run a Software Update to see if it shows up.
