iTunes stays in System Update: a way to get it out ?

The iTunes 3.01 system update refuses to understand I've already installed it and that I don't need it anymore - hence it stays in my SU list.

This has occurred as a 10.2.3 bug, as said at the time here. Since, did anyoone find a solution ? Running the installer again makes no changes.

In brief, is there a way to get this 3.0.1 iTunes update definitively out of the System Update list ? De-checking it or reinstalling it has no effect.

try 'Update Fixer', just released at www.versiontracker.com

or i suppose you could just deactivate it couldn't you?

Each time I deactivate it it comes back !

If you have moved the app into another folder, out of "Applications" or into a subfolder of, sw update will assume that you don't have it installed, it will continue to tell you that you need it.
