Itunes stopped importing

Hello,

I have around 6000 songs in my itunes library and now it doesn't want to import any more songs... (by dropping, importing (in the menu) and double-clicking on a file... nothing works)
I have a lot of free space left..
All the software is up-to-date...
I already rebooted my g5..

PLEASE HELP ME WHAT CAN I DO ?!

I have the exact same problem. I was importing songs from my hard drive to iTunes and it was all going great and then it just stopped dead in its tracks. The songs aren't greyed out at all and can be selected still, they just won't import.

I am using the most recent version of iTunes and Tiger on a Mac mini.

finally, I realized that the mp3s I wanted to import were damaged (howcome.. it's another story..)

Maybe it's the same problem for you.
