iTunes visualizer fading apple

is there any way to remove the annoying apple when turning on the visualizer in iTunes?

the apple appears in the center of the scrren, is a white silhouette and fades slowly into the background, using somewhat 15 sec to totally disappear.

i know some powerbooks don't have this feature in their iTunes [a friend of mine had never heard of it] - is it something special for my new iBook?

have looked around pretty much all of the existing menus of Itunes hundreds of times, but i cant get find anywere to tick it of.

the same goes for the track info wich appears at the beginning of everu new track. ANNOYING!!

If you start the visualizer in the window (not full screen) you can click the options button you can change some settings. But that doesn't answer your question.

Download G-Force.

I thought you could turn off track info. As for the apple: no, not without hacking the program, you can not get rid of it.

strangly enough, i have a 17inch imac and cant seem to get the apple logo to pop up in full screen mode...heh...but i love the visuals otherwise...

Nope. The closest you can get is to only have it display at the beginning of a track by de-selecting "Always display track info" in the Options.

ResEdit, or if possible, just mucking with the iTunes.app/Contents/Resources/ stuff might yeild a pic of the Apple logo that you can change to a smaller or different image. (I don't know where it is exactly, I'm away from my Mac).

In an older version of iTunes I dug around for the picture, to no avail. I trust, if Apple wanted their logo appearing in the visualizer, they wouldn't make it easy to remove. I you find it, let us know.

Stridder: Why are you complaining? Also, could you cite the people you "stole" those quotations in your sig from?
