ITUNES wont open

Hi.. i got my macbook in august and havent have any real problems with it yet until the other day. I went to open my itunes and it jumps in the dock, but never opens. Previously i had to wipe out my whole library because of previously downloading music from limewire, but i have now stopped that and all i download from in itunes now and i get cds from friends and so on... is there anyone who can help me get my itunes to open again. I have also tried to REDOWNLOAD itunes and it still did not work..

Maybe the iTunes preferences got hosed when you tried to be illegal? (This is a joke). Navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and "Repair Permissions". Also go to /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and delete the file com.apple.iTunes.plist .

All those warze programs make YOUR COMPUTER start sharing everything! That is why people are getting sued by the RIAA. So make sure you are not "sharing" any files.
