iWeb will NOT work

I've been having this problem for a very long time and am yet to find a solution. When I click on iWeb to open it opens sort of normally, but the thing to choose a template never comes up, therefore I can't create anything. Almost none of the buttons can be clicked because there's nothing to use really. I don't know if I explained it right, but right now it's unusable. Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall iWeb without getting like a disc or something? And I have iLife.

As far as I know, iWeb is a commercial product from Apple that came with iLife '06. Unless you purchase it, I think you can only use it on a trial basis for a short time. This might be the reason for your missing features.

If you do have iLife '06 and it came with your Mac or you purchased it, then you might want to trash the .plist preference files for iWeb and see if that resolves anything. Just do a search in Spotlight for .plist and iWeb and see what you come up with.
