Mine is a 9600 Mac with a XLR8 G3 500 Mhz card. One volume 9.2.2 and another X 10.1.5
I found that Jag install disk will not work on my Mac "as is", so I tried with OWC's XPF 2.2.4 and found out it does not support Jag yet. I tried wih Sonnet's PCI X install 1.2.5. This one booted from the CD OK, then I got a screen with a big dark gray apple in the center and below it a small sprocket that kept spinning for ever. From what I read about sonnet's PCI X installer the reason for the non install could be: 1. I don't have a 3rd party G4 but only a G3. 2. I launch Sonnet from OS 9.2.2 and not from 9.1 as the specs say. Any thoughts on what else I could be doing wrong - most welcome
