I would need some help. When I reboot my G4 on the CD to install 10.2, a window launches the apple and a spinning wheel...after a few seconds, I get a message that says that I have to restart my computer...I can do that 20 times and it still doesn't install Jaguar.
Does anyone have heard about that? Should I let my G4 running for a few more minutes and see what's going on?

I will appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks a lot.

My Jag install was just fine. I had to install twice, and both were successful.

In your case I'd use Drive10 or some emergency repairing software.
Or I'd just be careful and keep an OS9 partition, so when you reboot pressing Alt you can still reboot on this system you know by heart and from which you can repair your disk properly. If that's a disk problem you have, and I'm only speculating on this.

I've personally chosen to have a Drive10 CD, a Norton Systemworks CD I bought from a friend and an OS9 partition (because I still need OS9).
