Jaguar Installer CD Problems

Hello all,

I looked around but I couldn't find anything that matched my problems.

I have the Jaguar installer CD, and I attempter to install it on my G4/400 with 768 MB RAM. Started up from the CD, Installer program starts up and goes. However, I cannot click on any buttons with my mouse, except for the top menu, Also, my keyboard won't work. (I have a Logitech optical that is recognized; that is, I can switch between the Installer and Disk Utility, but I can't click buttons. I also have Microsoft INternet keyboard.)

Can someone help me?

I guess you have no apple keyboard around, right? Hmmmm, unfortunately at this point of the installation there is not much you can do. I never used thirdparty keyboards, but it makes sense to me that they will work properly after you have several drivers installed. I know, kinda weird..
Anyway, can you ask a friend for an apple keyboard? Just to see, if it has something to do with the device or maybe your installer CD
