I need to access japanese fonts in the terminal application. From first appearances it would seem that much of OS X is multilingual in nature and it should be possible to use Japanese in the terminal window. Any ideas on how to do it?
Well, I don't know if this'll work, and you've probably already tried it, but it's worth a shot. In Terminal, go up to the font menu, then select show fonts. Select the font that you want. Now, that may not work, seeing as how Webdings and Zapf Dingbats (which are symbol fonts) only show boxes when selected as the font. But like I say, it's worth a shot. *shrugs* I'd be interested to know if that works.
