Java and MacOS X

Hello,
I can't make Java work with Internet Explorer... When I'm watching a web site with an applet, there is nothing where the applet should be
Any remark ?

I'm having the same problem.

First of all, make sure you go into your IE preferences and turn Java on (it's off by default).

But even after doing that, I still haven't been able to see any of the java applets I have checked.

From what I understand, Java is not yet fully implemented in the IE 5.5 beta that comes with OS X Public Beta. Try OmniWeb.

Omniweb isn't able to show an java applet too... I don't think it comes from the navigators... perhaps the beta version of OS X wich is shipping has no java ! (Steve didn't demonstrate it at Apple Expo)...
