Jobs IS doing Keynote!

most likely nothing new. I mean... I love my Apple, but sheesh. how about something I can buy for my mother. Or an affordable G4 - tired of rumors. Tired of stuff I'd never purchase - read: 20" iMac.

keynote, iLife updates, and something new for iPod.

excuse me while I withhold my enthusiasm.

iTMS for Japan and Australia, most likely. Maybe a few tweaks in the G4/G5 line. The Pepsi endorsement deal.

Yep, I'm betting NO new PowerBooks/iBooks/iMacs/Desktops. Perhaps a few subtle upgrades to the lines, but nothing brand new.

iTMS international maybe, possibly ANOTHER recap of the Pepsi deal.

I want a iPod after Christmas. I think I'm gonna wait just to be sure until after MacWorld to see what's coming.

Which means I also have to wait until then to upgrade to Panther - cause I want a 'Pod to store some files on while I do a Fresh Install. :(

"Nothing New" at a macworld SF!? check yoself boy. This is where all the shithe goes down. Pardon my ebonics, I am just in that mood right now I guess.

Arden... thats the twentieth anniversary Mac, celebrating Apple's 20th anniversary. I mean a Mac celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Macintosh :)

Yes, you are right, Jon. And I've thought about a Mac celebrating the Mac's 20th, too; I don't know how they'd do it (I mean, who saw the iMac—either model—coming?), but it would definitely rock.

But it would not be called the 20th Anniversary Mac because that moniker has been used already.

I thought the 20th Anniversary had come and gone!?!?

There's the 20th Anniversary of Apple Computer and then the 20th Anniversary of the first computer called a Macintosh.

Back when they had the 20th Annivesary of the company Apple Computer they came out with "The 20th Anniversary Mac" which was this:

That's the same website Arden linked too...
And the 20th anniversart I'm talking abut is the 20th anniversary of the Macintosh, not Apple.
The 20th anniversary of the Macintosh will be January 24th, 2004, so...
