I have quetion that might sound stupid but it has me puzzled.
I have to had all the iMac joined to the MS AD, no swet to this point.
I need to migrate the users profiles for the old uers that started when there was no policy about Macs and AD.
So I log in as root, tar the users profiles and then expand the tar in the AD user folder and chown the files and folders, but how in the name of God can I change the group?. When I list the permisions of the files I get for the gruop something like this DOMAIN\dom being DOMAIN the actual identifier for our domain.
