Juno connection help

A friend of mine in Ohio is having problems with her ISP settings. She has been using Juno but switched to another ISP and didn't like it Here is what she has emailed me so far:

"I tried using Internet Connect again and removed all other ISP's info. Then I put in all the Juno info and let the application reconfigure, but now I can't connect from the Finder toolbar at all anymore. (I get a Juno screen that says I need technical assistance.) I brought the Juno icon to the dock and I can get online that way, but now Juno is overriding my home page again."

She's on a budget and can only afford dial-up. All she wants to do is connect via the menu bar and then use Firefox as her browser. She can't connect from the menu bar, so only clicking on the Juno icon in the dock is her only option, but that forces her to use Juno's browser and not Firefox.

Does anyone have a solution to the problem?

Has your friend tried to reconfigure create a new Location using her Internal Modem for her connection in her Network preferences pane?
