just some iPod questions

I've had my iPod for some months now and I think it's a great player. And the 1.2 update is nice too. But I have som Q's

1. The clock: Every time I stop using my iPod and it goes into sleep mode (or whatever it is) the clock gets unsynched. It's like it stops ticking or something when its off/sleeping. Is there a way to prevent this and keep the clock up to date?

2. Power: Is there a way to completely turn of the iPod so it not use power? Every time I haven't used the iPod in some days and I start a song, the battery is empty.

3. Date which timesone should I set my date to if I live in Norway?

can I have the clock in 24hr format?

1) My clock stayed synced just fine. I'm not sure what's happening there. Have you done a clean install of 1.2? That may help.

2) I don't think you can completly shut it off. Maybe while leaving it sit for days you could leave it pluged in. That way it's always ready to go.

If you take a look in 'settings - date and time - set time zone',
you will only see a list of many cities. And Oslo is not one of them!

I'm from Denmark and have the same time zone as you, and I'm using Paris. Remember to add DST if you use that.
