Okay so here is my problem..
When ever I try to download new updates for my applications such as iTunes 9.0.2, it says, "Type an administrator's name and password to allow Software Update to make changes" as usual.. When I type the name and password in it says, Sorry, you entered an invalid username or password. I am 100% sure that I typed in the correct username and password. I recently updated my mac to version 10.5.8.. I noticed ever since I updated my mac that it has been doing this. Also, I do not have the software disc to reboot my computer and reset the password, or however that works. Please help me out this is getting real frustrating especially since I just bought FCP, knowing that it will ask for the password to install.
Thanks,
John
