Kernel panicking MDD G4 - replace board?

I think I've finally tried every other option I can to get this 1.25 G4 to stop panicking. I think I have no choice but replace the logicboard.

It panicked three times today doing various things: viewing a streaming movie in Safari, in iTunes and once in the Finder.

There are no peripherals attached to the Mac, the video card is the original, the RAM has been replaced with no change. I've reinstalled the OS twice and run Diskwarrior twice. There are no system haxies, nothing odd added. I get both kinds of panics - the one with the grey screen telling me to restart and the other where the command lines dump across the screen.

So I'm left with replacing the logicboard, no?
But who still has these? Is this something I can replace on my own? What's the going rate? Will the cost be too prohibitive? Has anyone actually replaced their board and the panics stopped?

The following are my panics from 8/15 through today:

Any speakers? I say this because I was getting periodic panics and could not for the life of me figure out why --- until I unplugged the speakers I was using.
Disconnect everything except the keyboard and mouse, then give it a try.

Memory - OS X is really super sensitive to memory. Can you run the computer without the extra memory - just keeping in the original?

Do you remember what you installed just before the panics started?

i was having alotof kernelpanics on a quicksilver dual 800 machine.
turned-out that the level 3 cache was toasted.

right now, the machine will panic during early boot on a cold start, and then after a warm restart boot fine, but then without level 3 cache.

you can try disabling level 3 cache, and see if the panics still happen.

and ohja, try clean the machine on the inside with compressed air or something.
maybe you've been sawing some iron over the machine lately and did some of the dust endup on the motherboard..
