Kernel Panics, Mac OS X 10.4.11

I've been having repeated kernel panics for a little over a week now. I've run disk utility, tech tools, the disk utility on the installation disk, rember ram test, installed a virus checker, reinstalled (archive/install) mac os x. I am not receiving any errors in the tests, but I am still having kernel panics. They always happen when I am on the internet, not immediately, but I'd say about 20 minutes or so into a session. I first started having the panics when I clicked on a link from someone's facebook page and a kernel panic immediately popped onto my screen. I've been having them ever since. Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to what the problem is and what I should do?

I am not tech-savy to be able to read what it means; however, kernal panics ofter result from faulty RAM--RAM that will continually pass on TechTools. There is a very cheap shareware "memtest" that diagnosed my bad chip quickly. You get no updates for your $1.39.

I am not saying it IS bad RAM, but it is something to consider. It can behave like that--fail when taxed. I even called TechTools and they explained that failing RAM can be difficult to detect with their software.

The first thing that I would do is to shut down your Mac, uninstall all peripherals other than the Apple-supplied keyboard and mouse, and see if that helps.

If it doesn't, I would restart the Mac with the Shift key held down and see if the problem goes away. If it does, it is probably a software problem.

If that isn't a solution, I would remove all third-party RAM and see if that fixes things.
