Does anyone know how to map my extra Function Keys to specific Operations, like Next, Previous & Pause in iTunes, without actually shifting focus to iTunes?
For example, say I'm Chatting, and want iTunes to skip to the next song, I can select Next Song from the iTunes Dock Menu, I can Command-Tab (⌘-⇥) to iTunes and press Command-Right (⌘-→), or select iTunes from the Dock and press the "Next Song" Button. If I then want to continue chatting, I have to (⌘-⇥) back to iChat.
I supose I could write an AppleScript which does the job, but won't this change focus, and can it be bound to a Function Key?
