Keyboard*Alt*key*broken

I*hope*this*is*in*the*right*spot..

Since*maybe*two*days*ago,*my*ALT*key*has*been*broken.*Not*in*the*fact*that*it*doesn't*work,*but*it*seems*to*always*be*pressed*down*and*makes*my*regular*letters*into*Alt*code*symbols.
I*don't*really*know*what*could*have*caused*this,*and*most*of*the*keys*work*decently,*except*for*h.

Now,*mostly*what*I*would*like*to*know,*other*than*if*there*is*a*way*for*me*to*fix*this*myself*is,*how*long*would*it*take*if*i*need*to*send*it*in,*and*how*much*would*it*cost?*

Gosh*typing*is*so*annoying,*sorry*for*any*mistakes.
 
It*would*be*nice*to*see*the*specs*of*the*machine.**But*really*the easiest*way*to*do*this*yourself*is*to*buy*an*external*keyboard.**Otherwise*if*you*aren't*afraid*of*laptop*repair*you*could*try*repairing*it.
