Have you experienced keyboard auto-repeat that doesn't stop repeating when you let up on the key?
The funny thing is that it happens in some OS X apps (CodeWarrior) but not others (Finder). Even more strange, in some apps (IE) it happens only some of the time.
What's going on in OS X? I can't conceive of a straightforward explanation for this inconsistent behavior.
(Incidentally, the pre-X Mac OS is the only OS I know of that implements autorepeat correctly: using a special auto-repeat event. On Windoze and Unix, I always get the maddening "doesn't stop immediately if the app can't keep up with the auto-repeat speed" behavior.)
