Intermittently my keyboard does not respond when I'm in the Finder. This includes renaming folders, files etc. I get the blicking cursor waiting for keyboard typing but nothing happens on the screen when I type !
HOWEVER, this only happens in the Finder. My mouse works fine ALL the time. SO if I switch to an application my keyboard works fine.
The problem clears if I reboot the Mac or Relaunch the Finder. So certainly seems like a Finder issue, maybe a memory leak ???
We replaced the keyboard but this made no difference. We have also replaced some .plist files including the Finder.plist amongst others.
Does anybody have any suggestions ?
