Keychain questions

I believe I have a problem with my keychain and I don't know how to deal with it. I have a 500 MHz G3 iMac with 1 GB of RAM and I'm running OS 10.2.2.
I've unlocked the keychain and I've selected it and then clicked on both the attributes tab and the access control tab. I want to be able to give applications the ability to access my keychain, but I can't seem to get this to work.
Can anyone help?

At the bottom of the "Access Control" panel there should be an add button. I believe this is the button you use to add a program to this particular keychain.
