Keystroke to move files to trash?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use a keystroke to move a file to the trash?......or does this ability exist already and I've missed it?

OK Terry, check out Help, and it's right there. Select file, Command-Delete to trash.

Or even the "File" menu…

But, uh… yeah. Command (Apple) plus Delete will move files and folders to the Trash.

and to empty the trash press: command-shift-delete
