I'm upgrading my Beige G3 Desktop with a G4 ZIF upgrade, and I was wondering if any of the DIY tinkerers here know of a way that I could replace the "Power Macintosh G3" nameplate on the front of my box with one of my own design. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, it's your computer, you can do that. Just an Opinion, I think "Bob" is a good name as a substitute for "PowerMac G3". You can cross that old Apple name out with a permanent marker and scrawl whatever "Bob" you want! Or go more professional with something that will fit that space. glad to help!
