Ok, I've decided to take the plunge in the land of widgets. I know it's late, but better late than never.
Anyway, wanted to see if people had any suggestions/advice to make the experience that much better, and also to see what people are using, and where to get them.

i've also toyed with the idea, but not gotten myself immersed enough to do the widgets that I've thought of.

if we're posting widget requests too (for those widget-artisans on the board who may be reading this), i'd love to see a widget that displays the terminal's TOP info in a small, desktop level widget. it'd be so nice...

good luck randman, you may inspire me to give it another go myself.

i think this exists already, theres a few , you can search on the konfabulator site for them, sometime i use itunes companion widget, but i prefer synergy for that kind of stuff.
 
OK, I've got the basics down. Not bad. But I trashed some of the widgets that came with the download and can't find a replacement copy (for example, I'd rather have the normal weather than the mini weather for the extended forecast). Anyone have them or nor where I can get them from? They're not listed on widgetgallery.com and I'd hate to have to resintall Kon just to get them back. Cheers :)

I have most of the originals, tell me what you want and ill email them to you

Oh and on the theme for wanted widgets... more localised ones for europe ... in particular the wee search widget that searches google amazon ebay etc, they're all for the american sites....
